Terms of Service
Last updated: September 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Deep Field Foundry (the “site”). By visiting the site, signing in, or downloading anything from it, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What this site is
Deep Field Foundry publishes poetry, serial fiction, novels, and editorials. Every piece is presented here as a short preview; the full piece is available only as a download. Some downloads are free; others require an active membership at the required tier on this creator’s Patreon page. Membership, billing, and cancellation are all handled directly by Patreon — this site does not process payments itself.
2. Accounts and access
To access members-only downloads, you sign in through Patreon. You’re responsible for keeping your Patreon account secure, and for any activity that happens through your account on this site. We periodically re-check membership status with Patreon; if your pledge lapses or your tier changes, your access here updates to match.
3. Ownership of the content
Unless a piece is credited to a guest writer, all writing published on this site — poetry, novels, chapters, and editorials — is the original work of the site’s author and is protected by copyright. Nothing on this site transfers ownership of that work to you.
When you download a piece, you’re granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read it for your own private enjoyment. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly post, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit any downloaded work, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from the site owner.
4. Guest-submitted work
Writers who submit work for consideration and publication on this site retain ownership of their own writing. By submitting, a contributor grants Deep Field Foundry a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and make that work available for download on the site (subject to Section 3 above), and confirms that the submitted work is their own original creation and does not infringe anyone else’s copyright or other rights.
5. Copyright complaints
If you believe something published on this site infringes your copyright, contact us at REPLACE_WITH_REAL_EMAIL@example.com with (a) identification of the work you believe is infringed, (b) identification of the material on this site you believe is infringing, and (c) your contact information. We’ll review the report and remove material where warranted.
6. Editorial content
Political and social editorial pieces on this site reflect the personal views and opinions of their author, offered as creative and editorial writing. They are not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind, and should not be relied on as such.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access or download restriction on this site; scrape, bulk-download, or automatically harvest content from the site; use the site to infringe anyone’s intellectual property or other rights; or interfere with the site’s normal operation or security.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site — including members-only downloads — if you violate these Terms, or if your qualifying Patreon membership lapses or is cancelled. You can stop using the site at any time; cancelling your Patreon pledge is done directly through Patreon.
9. No warranty
This site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deep Field Foundry and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/JURISDICTION TO BE FILLED IN], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
